ORBIT’s ADAMS Audio Management Systems selected once again by Airbus

June 17, 2015; Le Bourget, France – Today at the Paris Airshow ORBIT Communication Systems Ltd., a leading provider of mission-critical communication solutions for land, sea, air and space applications, announced that it has signed agreement with Airbus. Total combined value of these contracts is more than $5M.
Airbus has once again selected ORBIT’s ADAMS as their preferred digital audio management solution. These contracts contribute to the solid relationship of more than a decade between Airbus and ORBIT.

ADAMS is ORBIT’s highly recognized secure Airborne Digital Audio Management System designed for aircrafts with large crew numbers such as those used for transportation, tanker and mission applications. ADAMS supports up to 20 full-capability users, 8 intercom-only users, 16 radios, 31 receivers, 6 recording outputs and several internal intercom networks. Based on a modular, high-performance open design, ADAMS is a COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) system, adaptable to a wide variety of airborne applications, which provides a complete solution for all on-board audio. By leveraging its advanced DSP (Digital Signal Processing) capabilities, high quality, crisp and clear audio is ensured enabling better communications and thus improved crew coordination.
