ORBIT Wins Contract to Supply SatCom Solution for Airborne Platforms to Large Defense Organization in East Asia

Netanya, Israel; January 26, 2015 – ORBIT Communication Systems, a leading provider of mission and business critical communication solutions for air, sea and land platforms, today announced that it has won a large contract to supply a satellite communication solution for Airborne platforms to a major defense organization in eastern Asia. Given the long-term nature of the project, this initial contract has the potential for additional follow-on orders.

The Asian defense organization is a longstanding ORBIT customer and has been using the company’s Tracking and Telemetry solutions for many years. Recently, ORBIT was informed that it was selected by the same organization to provide maritime UAS command and control antennas for installation on an operational ship.
