ORBIT Receives Follow-On Order for Advanced Communication Systems from the Israel Ministry of Defense

ORBIT’s systems are a key component in an extensive infrastructure project administered by the Israel Ministry of Defense (MoD) and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF)

Netanya, Israel, October 18, 2016 – ORBIT Communications Systems Ltd. (TASE: ORBI), a leading provider of precision tracking-based communications solutions and airborne communications management systems, announced today that it has received a follow-on order for advanced communication systems from the Israel Ministry of Defense valued at more than US$3.5 million. This follow-on order is part of a long-term agreement between ORBIT and the Ministry of Defense for an extensive infrastructure project administered by the MoD and the IDF, with delivery expected during 2017 and 2018.
