Mr. Eitan Livneh, Chairman of the Board

Mr. Eitan Livneh, Chairman of the Board

Eitan Livneh joined Orbit in July 2016, bringing with him over 35 years of leadership experience in both the Israeli Navy and in industry. Prior to joining Orbit, Mr. Livneh was the President and CEO of Magal Security Systems from 2009 and previous to that he was CEO of Tadiran Telcom Ltd. He has also served as CEO of Elgo Irrigation and General Manager of Pecker Plada Mifalei Darom Ltd. Prior to turning to industry, Mr. Livneh served in the Israeli Navy, graduated the Naval Academy reaching the rank of Navy Commander. Mr. Livneh has a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration. In 1989 he received the highest Israel Defense Award by Israeli President and Minister of Defense.

 

Dalit Dadon, Chief Operations Officer

Dalit Dadon, Chief Operations Officer

Ms. Dalit Dadon joined Orbit Communication Systems, Inc. in July of 2010.  Ms. Dadon is also responsible for management of the company’s HR activity, as well as acting as the company Empowered Official (EO) for ITAR control and compliance.

Ms. Dadon’s career includes over 20 years of comprehensive experience in various aspects of Finance, Administration, Export and HR management in diversified industries. Among others, prior to joining Orbit, Ms. Dadon served as Finance and Operation Manager for Hazera Seeds Inc., a US subsidiary of Hazera Genetics Ltd (part of Limagrain Group), a worldwide leader in developing and manufacturing of fruit and vegetable seeds. Prior to that, she served as Export and Office Manager for Hy Laboratories Ltd. (Hylabs), a developer, manufacturer and distributor of tools for identification of microorganisms and molecular biology products.

Ms. Dadon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Ben Gurion University, Israel, a certificate of HR Management Continuing Education Studies, and has attended the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Graduate School of Business.

 

David Lee, Director, Sales & Business Development, Airborne Communication Systems

Mr. David Lee joined Orbit Communication Systems, Inc. in 2015 as the North American Director of Sales & Business Development for ORBIT’s new Airborne Communication Solutions product line. The Airborne Communication solutions product line now includes Audio Management Systems, Airborne Video Management as well as Airborne SATCOM Tracking Antennas.

Mr. Lee brings extensive experience in business development, systems engineering, avionics integration, program management and technical sales in Electronic Warfare, airborne communications, SATCOM and tactical data links for both military and commercial markets. His expertise will help ORBIT provide our customers with advanced, customized connectivity solutions specifically designed to enhance crew coordination and mission effectiveness.
Mr. Lee’s career spans more than 30 years which includes serving as a Naval Aviator, Defense Acquisition professional and in the aerospace and defense sector. Previously to joining ORBIT, Mr. Lee worked for TECOM Industries, ITT Exelis, BAE Systems and Rockwell Collins. Mr. Lee served in the United States Navy as Rotary Wing Aviator, acquisition professional and currently holds both his commercial fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft ratings.

He is a member of the Association of Old Crows (AOC) and holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Michigan State University.

 

Mr. Steven Refsnider, Customer Service Manager

Mr. Refsnider joined Orbit Communication Systems, Inc. in October 2010. Steve brings comprehensive technical knowledge of satellite communications systems as well as over 12 years’ experience in management of communications maintenance work centers. Prior to joining Orbit, Mr. Refsnider served as the manager of Verizon’s International Maintenance Center in Pompano Beach, Florida where he led a team of technicians responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining international digital circuits between the United States and South, Central and Latin America.

In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Refsnider served for more than 23 years in the U.S. Air Force, including eight years as a Master Instructor in the field of satellite communications maintenance where he was recognized for professional achievement and expert knowledge. Steve attended the Community College of the Air Force and earned Associates Degrees in Electronics Systems Technology and Instructional Technology.
